  • To reserve a cart, you’ll need a valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, and a credit or debit card for payment.

  • Golf carts are street-legal throughout most of Port Aransas. They are not permitted on Highway 361 or beyond Mile Marker 55.

Rules of the Road

Keep it safe, keep it fun

  • Golf carts cannot be operated on Highway 361. Legal crossing points exist—ask us or check with the city.

  • No operation near bays, docks, shorelines, or the ocean. Water damage fees range $2,000–$20,000.

  • Don't go beyond mile marker 55 on the beach. Exception: Cinnamon Shores North/South renters.

  • Stay on designated roads. The beach is a public roadway—dunes and off-road areas are prohibited.

  • Seatbelts required for everyone. No lap riding. Child safety seats required per Texas law.

  • Golf carts are motor vehicles. DWI, open container, and all traffic laws apply.

  • Return with a full tank or pay a $35 fuel charge (unless you selected pre-paid fuel).

  • Remove the key when parked. Don't leave valuables in the cart—you're responsible during rental.

  • All carts have Apple AirTags—not to track you, but to help recover our equipment if it's ever stolen.
